Today Bill Frenier of Gold Coast Scuba in Fort Lauderdale Florida and Chet Pietrzak finished their Diveheart Adaptive Scuba Instructor Training. After 3 days of grueling academics, land clinics and confined water training we were ready to take on our open water scenarios. Thank you to our friends at Islamorada Dive Center in Islamorada, Florida in the beautiful Florida Keys for taking us out on your beautiful dive boat that is fully capable of participating in adaptive training.
Bill and Chet underwent a dramatic amount of empathy training to put themselves in the situations and scenarios of those divers that they may be working with in order to think outside the box to allow others different ways of overcoming obstacles and tasks associated with the amazing sport of scuba diving, so that others may "Imagine the Possibilities". Bill and Chet worked with mock students as well as themselves were mock students that participated as blind divers, amputee divers, paraplegic divers and quadriplegic divers so that they may be well rounded to teach others to work with divers of ALL and varying abilities.
WAY TO GO Bill and Chet!
DIVE ARMY will be conducting more Diveheart training January 17- 20, 2019. For more information look at our website or go to www.Diveheart.org
