We would like to cordially invite you to join DIVE ARMY for this once in a lifetime trip to Egypt and the Red Sea. (Currently the option to book just the liveboard is sold out).
-For diving, our magical experience will be on board the Blue Horizon of the Blue O Two fleet to dive the majestic Red Sea.
The Egyptian Red Sea is one of the 7 Wonders of the Underwater World, an extremely rich and diverse ecosystem which harbours more than 1,100 species of fish, 1,000 of invertebrates, over 200 species of soft and hard coral and 44 species of sharks. Dive alongside large pelagics such as oceanic white tip, thresher, and hammerhead sharks.A wide array of colourful, tropical fish will keep even the most seasoned diver entertained. The Red Sea offers great macro wonders too; including a great variety of nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, and leaf fish. The great marine biodiversity in the Red Sea is partly due to the expanse of coral reef that extends along huge lengths of its coastline. Offering exciting dive sites suitable for divers of all levels and interests, the Red Sea is an ideal place for beginner divers to get to grips with the underwater world. The avid wreck diver can explore legendary shipwrecks such as Thistlegorm and Giannis D. The huge variety of dive sites in the Red Sea will undoubtedly impress even the most experienced divers and give them a trip to remember.

Red Sea Liveaboard Itinerary: (February 27- March 6, 2023)
The Strait of Tiran and North cruise allows you to take in some of the most iconic wrecks and reefs the northern Red Sea has to offer as well as the pristine coral reefs of Tiran.
The Tiran dive area is found in the entrance to the Gulf of Aqaba and is made up of four main reefs that form the top of an underwater bridge. These reefs, named after British cartographers (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, Gordon), are world famous for their extraordinary diversity of corals and strong south westerly currents make them home to many large pelagic fish.
-
Day 1
Start the week with a check dive before heading north for an afternoon and night dive.
-
Days 2-5
Spend four days cruising the northern Red Sea. Normally you will have the opportunity to make three day dives and a night dive each day. The exact itinerary and order of dive sites will vary depending on the conditions but you can expect to visit plenty of wrecks including SS. Thistlegorm. There is also some fantastic reef diving including the Ras Mohamed and Tiran marine parks, Sha'ab El Erg (famous for dolphin encounters) and the island of Gubal.
-
Day 6
Enjoy two relaxed morning dives close to Hurghada allowing you to cruise into harbour in the early afternoon. Take advantage of an evening onshore to purchase souvenirs and enjoy Egypt's famous hospitality before your journey home the next day.
-
PLEASE NOTE
The itinerary above is an example of the planned route and dive sites cannot be guaranteed. All dives sites are subject to weather conditions and the final route taken is at the absolute discretion of the captain and dive guides. Adverse weather can affect this route which includes one or two overnight sailings.
We recommend trip cancellation/interruption insurance (don’t f forget to include airfare as well as sleeping accommodations pre and post cruise) and we require dive accident insurance on this itinerary.
